ICSE

Following its launch in 1990 the scope of CPhI Worldwide expanded to include sub-sectors experiencing rapid growth such as contract manufacturing, contract research and contract services.

Technology was becoming more accessible and many organisations were investigating outsourcing all or part of their production and research processes. Pharmaceutical companies started to look for partners throughout the world that would have the best strategic fit with their own organisation.

These developments underlined the need for a global meeting place for the pharmaceutical industry and the subsequent launch of  ICSE, the International Contract Services Expo alongside CPhI Worldwide in 2000. Now in its 10th year ICSE is the only truly global exhibition dealing with pharmaceutical outsourcing.

Also the introduction of Industry hub websites such as www.wherepharmameets.com and www.ingredientsnetwork.com whereby, visitors from across the globe who visit the various shows can source the latest cutting edge industry news.

The Dutch office also publishes International Food Ingredients (IFI) magazine and organises related conference activities. In 2009 the Pharma portfolio will organise trade shows taking place in Tokyo, Shanghai, Soa Paulo, Madrid and Mumbai.
 

ABC Audited

ICSE Europe is an ABC audited event. The Audit Bureau of Circulations Ltd (ABC) is a not for profit distribution organisation established in 1931 to provide independent verification of media owner’s circulation and attendance claims. ABC now has over 3,600 members making it one of the world’s largest media independent auditing bodies.
