Madrid is easy to get around. The central areas are walkable, the metro is modern, extensive and efficient, buses are also good and serve some of the more out-of-the-way districts, while taxis are always available

TRAVEL TO FERIA DE MADRID

By Air

Madrid Barajas airport is located only 10 minutes from IFEMA, and just 15 kilometres from the city centre, with which it is connected by the Metro (Aeropuerto station).

By Road

Feria de Madrid is linked by road to Madrid’s major access routes and ring roads: the M11 (Exits 5 and 6), the M40 (Exits 5, 6 and 7) and the A2 (Exit 7). The South and North Entrances to the exhibition complex provide direct access to the various parking areas.

By Public Transport

Metro
The metro is extensive and runs from 6am until 2am. The flat fare is €1 for nearly all journeys around the city centre, or up to €15.50 for a ten-trip ticket (bono de diez viajes) for all zones, which can be used on the buses and by more than one person.From the city centre, take line 4 towards Parque de Santa Maria to Mar de Cristal then chamge to line 8 towards Barajas for one stop to Campo de las Naciones station. This takes about half an hour. Please note that you will arrive at the south entrance of the venue. Costs for a metro ticket to the venue is €2. For more information, please visit www.metromadrid.es

A wide bus network provides access to Feria de Madrid from different points in the city:

Taxi
There are Taxi ranks at each entrance to the exhibition complex. Taxi journeys from the city centre can take from half an hour to up to two hours, depending on the traffic. The minimum fare is €1.75 and supplements are charged for baggage, for going to the train and bus stations or outside the city limits (which includes going to the airport) and for night trips (10pm–6am).
