How to get around in Paris

It is easy to travel around Paris and to get from one destination to another. Whether you make use of public transportation (the metro, the bus, the suburban trains) or take a taxi,  the city is well covered. Traveling in your own vehicle however is not the best way to explore the city as traffic jams are a daily returning annoyance and it a parking spot is difficult to find.
